I am so excited about “My favorite things” giveaway. When I was deciding what my first giveaway would be I asked myself what is one thing that I cannot live without? My heart fluttered and I knew it had to be my Bible. The Word of God shares the most amazing story of my HERO! Jesus Christ rescued me and loves me in spite of me. HIS WORD gives my heart Peace, encouragement, and direction. The Bible is a fresh cup of cold water for my soul and I am praying for the one who will win this precious gift!

Coming from someone who grew up in church on and off only because a van picked me up, the one thing I want to share is that you don’t get discouraged on what you do or don’t know. Learning about the bible has brought so much joy to my days. Seeing the stories link together as one. So open your heart and your mind and absorb his word as it flows through you in your study

I was raised in the same church my grandfather built many years ago. My entire family attends there. With the stresses of life, I have allowed my spiritual life to suffer greatly. This study & community has made me reevaluate my priorities & make a conscious effort to begin putting my spiritual life back in front. God has blessed me beyond measure in my life & I have failed to remain faithful to him & his word. #workinprogress

Commit…
you don’t have to be perfect at your purpose but if you commit and show effort that speaks volumes of you as a person. Commit to reading at least one verse from the Bible if you know you have a busy day ahead of you. Commit to talking to your husband, boyfriend, child, etc at least once a day about why you love them. Because God commit when he gave his only son for us so why can’t we commit?

It’s funny that one of the tasks you have out up is If you have ever felt trapped. I usually don’t post personal stuff on any type of media but with this group and the outpour of support not just from all the ladies but from also from you Ashley and also Jamie. I struggle with chronic migraines. I have always had them but not to the severity level that I have them now. I feel so trapped because this hinders not only me, but also my family. I am finally to that point of where I am not giving up. I am going to live my life and not let this get me down and stop me from being me. My husband and our kids need me. I know that I can do this, because I know that no matter how bad a situation can get, I am never in it alone. My God is always with me. And He will never put more on me than I can handle. Thank you so much for all the hard work you and Jamie have out into this study group.

I am praying for you! That is very difficult but I love how you are trusting Jesus and know HE will never leave you! Stay focused on HIM!

He has removed the splinter I had in my eye and heart towards joining and being involved again in a study.I had “failed” miserably in the past- I have tried to control and surround myself in a shroud of neglect- of my prayer life-my time with God-my shame at not being what I thought others expected of a “long time christian”-only to be awakened to our loving God, who loves me Seemlessly-regardless of all of the past . Thank you Sisters for your encouragement, your humility, your sharing yourselves and your lives. It has opened up my soul to loving the Bible and studying again-Hallelujah!

If you’re seeking to live on purpose and live a beautifully designed life, my words of encouragement and my prayer for you is this…
Gracious God, at times my days run together into weeks, into months, into years without any conscious thought on my part. Then, suddenly, I come to myself in the space of a moment and realize how unaware and without purpose I have been. Yet, when I try to define my purpose, it seems strangely elusive. What did you have in mind when you breathed the breath of life into me? I ask that you will give me clarity of purpose; that you will reveal to me my own reason for existence; that you will give me the sure and certain assurance that even when I have lost track of myself and my life, your purpose, though unknown to me or forgotten by me, is still being lived out through me. I ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.

Beautifully written. I am sooo guilty of the just go with the flow mindset. And honestly it is very thoughtless. We have become so wrapped up in our own burdens that instead of turning to God and seeking His help we just wish the day was over.

Bibles are such a great thing to give someone. When i was in 4th or 5th grade, a bomb went off in Oklahoma killing a bunch of people. Well it just so happened that the day before, at my school, the gideons were handing out those small new testament bibles. I got with my teacher and told her I wanted to collect as many bibles as we could and I wanted to send them to the kids and families in Oklahoma. I’m not sure who all got the bibles but we sent them to the police depsrtment in Oklahoma city and I had a note with instructions to give them out. All i knew back then is that there is so much comfort in this one simple yet complex book called the Bible.

Third times a charm! Today in church, pastor was teaching on Philippians 4:6-9. He has mentioned a time or two that wherever your mind goes, your life will follow. The Word tells us that “as a man thinks, so is he.” If we know beyond a shadow of a doubt what the Word says about us, we should be at peace. Pastor said something today and I was so happy when I realized that it fits this perfectly. He said “the enemy can’t stop your purpose, he only tries to distract you.” Your mind will only go in two directions, the last and the future. If you see yourself with a purpose, you will succeed.

COMMITMENT, FOCUS and follow through!!
So many times we have the greatest of intentions and plans. We start out all fired up and full speed ahead and then everyday life and seeds of doubt creep in. We get side tracked and lose the momentum we had. Then eventually we forget what we were fighting for. Always focus your tunnel vision on the end result. It may take a lot longer to achieve than you initially thought, but once achieved, the reward is beautiful.

My one word would be Trust… I have had to learn to re-trust in so many areas of my life. I have had to trust my gut in Believing again. I was scarred as a child at our local church and it wounded my Spirit.. Being apart of Seemless Bible Study was at first scared because I had to use my Bible from my childhood. As I opened it each day my bookmarks and highlights reminded me of Sunday school and so many memories. I would love to have a new Bible with new meanings and the new memories I am making that you have shared with so many and making it possible for me to Believe and Trust once again. Thank you ❤️ Sorry for the long story…Tracey
